Pelvic Ultrasound

Answers, not just assumptions.

Pelvic ultrasound is one of the most powerful tools we have to evaluate symptoms like pelvic pain, heavy periods, or irregular bleeding. At Her Health Gynecology, we offer gentle, in-office pelvic ultrasound with clear explanations and a compassionate approach — so you can understand what’s going on and what comes next.

When is a Pelvic Ultrasound Helpful?

You may need a pelvic ultrasound if you have:

  • Heavy or irregular periods

  • Pelvic pain or cramping

  • Abnormal bleeding (especially after menopause)

  • Known fibroids or ovarian cysts

  • Concerns about uterine or ovarian structure

  • Fertility evaluation or hormonal symptoms

What to Expect During the Ultrasound

1. A Warm, Respectful Setting
We take your comfort seriously. Every exam is done with care, professionalism, and dignity.

2. Transabdominal &/or Transvaginal Imaging
Depending on your symptoms and needs, we may perform one or both types of ultrasound to get a full picture.

3. Same-Day Review of Findings
We’ll go over what we see together — no waiting, no confusion. You’ll leave with next steps already mapped out.

4. Personalized Follow-Up
Whether your ultrasound is normal or reveals something that needs attention, we’ll support you through your next steps — with clarity and compassion.

  • Expertise in evaluating fibroids, cysts, thickened lining, and structural concerns

Pricing

We are a cash-pay clinic and offer transparent pricing for all services. You may be able to use insurance for lab work, pathology, or surgical procedures, but ultrasound is performed in-office and is billed directly. All in-office billing will be up front before anything is completed.

Q: Will the ultrasound hurt?
A: Transvaginal ultrasound may feel a little uncomfortable, but it should not be painful. We prioritize your comfort every step of the way.

Q: Can I get results the same day?
A: Yes. We review findings with you during your visit so you leave with clarity, not questions.
